Types of Flooring

Southern Maryland Floor offers a wide variety of flooring. Below are just some of the many floors that we currently offer.

Carpet

Heavy fabric in wool, cotton or synthetic fibers. Supplying a variety of options and colors; Loop pile, Cut pile, Berber, Shag and more. 

Luxury Vinyl Plank/Tile

Also known as LVP/LVT, this type of flooring comes in wood and stone looks. Designed to resist moisture and everyday wear and tear.

Epoxy

Synthetic resin floor, that is laid on top of concrete forming a protective layer while offering a decorative final look. 

Hardwood

Versatile in its look and can compliment all types of interiors. Long-lasting and can withstand several refinishes to remove surface scratches.

Engineered Hardwood

Offers the look of real wood at a more affordable price supplied in a variety of plank widths.

Sand & Re-Finish

Freshen up your current floors by sanding down the old finish, removing surface scratches and applying a top layer of polyurethane finish.

Ceramic/Porcelain Tile

Water-resistant, durable and comes in a variety of styles and colors.

Laminate

Alternative to carpet, made to imitate the look of wood or tile flooring avoiding the higher end cost.

Sheet Vinyl

A resilient flooring that comes in a large roll, cut to size.

Vinyl Composite Tile (VCT)

Made from a mixture of recycled vinyl and limestone. Often used in commercial settings because it is easy to clean, and can withstand heavy foot traffic over time.

Broadloom Carpet

A woven carpet on a wide loom, typically installed wall to wall. Also known as tufted carpet, produced and sold in 12 to 15 foot wide rolls.

Carpet Tile

A small piece of carpet that is cut into individual squares or rectangles used to create a larger carpet by fitting them together.

Gym Floor & Game Lines

Rubber flooring that is durable, easy to clean and provides cushion.

Rubber Floor

Made from natural or recycled rubber materials. Ideally suited for high impact and high traffic areas that are in need of an extra cushion layer.

Heat Welded Sheet Vinyl

Often used in commercial spaces with high hygiene standards (Hospitals and Laboratories). Uses heat to fuse vinyl sheets together creating a seamless surface.


Counter Tops

Quartz

Engineered stone surfaces, combining the best of natural stones and resin. Often more uniform and superior to granite, offering greater durability.

Granite

Quarried stone surfaces, combining many different minerals. Offering unique looks, as no slab is like another, each have slightly different mineral patterns and colors. 

Concrete

Created from a mortar mix, color may be added into the mix to offer a more unique look. It is then sealed to create a non-porous and heat/stain resistant surface.
